Pop superstar Beyonce has announced her only European festival appearance of 2013 will be at this year's V.
She will perform at the twin-site event in August, with the other headliners being rock royalty the Kings Of Leon.
Double Brit-winner Emeli Sande, The Script, Jessie J, Rita Ora and X Factor winner James Arthur will also be playing V this summer.
The Vaccines, Beady Eye, Calvin Harris, Jessie Ware, Stereophonics, Two Door Cinema Club, and Basement Jaxx are also among the first batch of stars unveiled for the festival.
Others confirmed to appear include Olly Murs, Paloma Faith, James, The Courteeners, Jason Mraz, Fun., Labrinth, Ellie Goulding, Kendrick Lamar, Of Monsters And Men, Maverick Sabre, Travis, DJ Fresh, Maximo Park, Lianne La Havas, Rudimental, Scouting For Girls, Deacon Blue, Little Mix, Ocean Colour Scene, The Fratellis, Gabrielle Aplin and Laura Mvula.
The event - staged at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park in Staffo rdshire - is staged over the weekend of August 17 and 18.
Further acts are to be announced over the coming weeks.
Festival director Simon Moran said: "With our line-up already boasting acts including Beyonce, Kings Of Leon and Emeli Sande, the 18th annual V Festival is once again set to be an unmissable weekend.
"We have a reputation for bringing fans the best world class acts and breakthrough artists, 2013 is set to be another sensational year."
The Beyonce shows follow on from her UK tour, which comes to London, Manchester and Birmingham in April and May
In past headliners have included Coldplay, Radiohead, Oasis and Arctic Monkeys.
