What would you wear to a party thrown by fashion house Chanel? Er, well, we'd probably wear Topshop, but Jessica Chastain wore a cream Chanel dress that showed off a lot of skin last night.
The Oscar nominee braved a room full of red wine in a pleated cream dress which exposed a lot of cleavage last night - she looked amazing, obviously, but we just hope she didn't have to lean over any bars.
The dinner, a traditional night-before party thrown every year, was held at Madeo restaurant in LA, and was also attended by loads of other fashion-types: Kate Bosworth wore all-Chanel: her dress, necklace and shoes are all from this season's collection.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wore an amazing striped jumpsuit - which is either the best outfit we've seen this week, or a trip hazard - and Zoe Kravitz wore a kind of see-through net thing with a bathing costume underneath. That's official fashion speak.
Also posing up against the world's most famous hedge were model Cara's sister Poppy Delevigne, Lily Collins and Emily Mortimer.

It's not just Oscar nominee Jessica who's out partying the night before the awards, because her rival Best Actress nominee Jennifer Lawrence was also wearing a tiny dress in LA at the Independent Spirit Awards .
