Rihanna blew a kiss to Chris Brown - the man who beat her black and blue - as he appeared before a judge on allegations he cheated his way out of community service.
The Bajan beauty walked into the LA court house on Brownâs arm today, sitting behind his legal team, then left in the same car afterwards.
Today's case was adjourned with the judge wanting to see more evidence that Brown had fiddled the amount of hours service he has completed since being sentenced for battering his on-off pop queen girlfriend in 2009.
Prosecutors were asking a judge to order Brown to redo his community service because of significant discrepancies in records submitted to a court.
Police in Richmond, Virginia submitted paperwork last year indicating Brown had completed his sentence on tasks such as graffiti removal and roadside cleanup.
However, the logs showed he performed double shifts in the city and at a day care centre where his mother once worked.
He logged 701 hours in seven months - an amount that had previously taken him more than two years to achieve.
Deputy District Attorney Mary Murray called the records "at best sloppy documentation and at worst fraudulent reporting".
Brown's attorney Mark Geragos said prosecutors ignored interviews "where sworn peace officers stated unequivocally that Mr. Brown was supervised and did all of the community service."
Brown was allowed to perform his community labour sentence for the 2009 beating of Rihanna in his home state of Virginia.
Superior Court Judge James Brandlin set the next hearing for April 5.
