A jeering 50-strong mob caused chaos at a Britainâs Got Talent audition when they staged a protest against Simon Cowell.
Bouncers were called in to boot out the posse which was angry at Simon for crushing the dreams of a teenage duo called The Elite.
It seemed everyone had loved singer Jenna Milroy, 16, and guitarist Jay Fitzpatrick, 14.
They needed three votes from the four judges to progress to the next round of the ITV contest.
The pair were given the thumbs up by David Walliams, 41, and Alesha Dixon, 34.
But David and Alesha were stunned when show boss Simon, 53, voted no â" and Amanda Holden, 41, sided with him.
The audience was outraged and fury erupted after the teenagers left the stage in despair.
Â
Jay said: âThe crowd went crazy â" everyone started to roar âBring back The Eliteâ and started booing Simon. Later, people were running around going mental.
âThatâs when the bouncers began to throw out the crowd that had gathered in the foyer on our side of the arena.
âThey were going berserk. All these shouting people eventually got dispersed by the bouncers.â
Shocked Helen Doig, 22, who was in the audience at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow, said: âEveryone started to get really angry because they seemed to love The Elite a lot.â
The BGT Facebook page was flooded with complaints about the decision. Jennaâs dad, Bobby Milroy, said the Paisley duo had âperformed brilliantly and behaved impeccably in extraordinary circumstancesâ.
A BGT spokeswoman said: âThe crowd were keen for The Elite to go through but itâs up to the judges.
âPeople were asked to leave because we needed space to load up for the next session.â
