Michael Jacksonâs son Prince has landed his first job as a TV showbiz reporter â" because he needs the cash.
Entertainment Tonight unveiled him as an on-air correspondent just days after he turned 16.
But family insiders said he took the CBS job partly because he would not inherit his late dadâs fortune until he turned 21 and only survived on a small allowance.
A family source said: âET is a way to earn money. He is technically still broke.â
His first assignment was to interview stars from Disneyâs new film Oz the Great and Powerful.
When complimented on his maturity, he replied: âThatâs all thanks to my dad. He raised me right.â
Â
Jackson, also dad to Paris, 14, and Blanket, 11 tomorrow, died suddenly in 2009 with massive personal debts and his £640million estate has been caught up in long-term probate litigation.
