There is Ad-ele of a battle to lure our very own Brit Oscar winner into signing up for a feature-length documentary.
Adele has sparked a multi-million dollar bidding war between rival US TV stations who are desperate to snap up the star after she revealed she could feature in a Beyonce-style doc.
HBO is a front-runner after she cited the station but the entertainment departments of CNN and Fox are frantically pitching for her signature, too.
Speaking after the Academy Awards, where she picked up the Best Original Song trophy for Skyfall over the weekend, the 24-year-old said: âMaybe Iâll do a HBO special like Beyonce did.â
Within 24 hours, offers were being rushed on to the table.
A US insider tells me: âAs soon as Adele said she could be interested in a show, TV producers were compiling suggestions.Â
âThis will be a major coup for anyone to get. Adele hasnât done any major interviews for a long time.
"She has never spoken in depth about her relationship with partner Simon Konecki or the birth of her son Angelo.â
But there is another name in the running who could snare the next big televised chat with Adele: Alan Carr.
The good friends last got together for his Channel 4 show in 2011 and Alan popped over to Adeleâs pad in Brighton to see Angelo, weeks after he was born last year.
Beyonce recorded an intimate insight into her life for HBO, where she spoke candidly about the birth of baby Blue Ivy and her marriage to rapper Jay-Z.
Itâs been over a year since Adeleâs last major TV appearance, which took place ahead of last yearâs Grammys.
In the hour-long special, Adele took CBS on a tour of her home and discussed her throat surgery.
An Oscar, another Grammy and a Brit award later, and Adele is extremely hot property right now.
