Just in case you were starting to miss Taylor Swift (she's really gone off the radar recently, hasn't she?), the singer has posed for an oh-so-ladylike shoot for next month's Elle magazine.
Covering up in a variety of womanly outfits, Taylor proved that she can do high fashion as well as pop princess - plus it's nice to see the blonde in something other than white.
Opening up to the magazine about her dramatic love life, Taylor hinted that she won't be screaming at ex-boyfriend Harry Styles following their split - even though she enjoys humiliating him on stage as often as possible.
She said: "I donât think Iâve ev er yelled at an ex-boyfriend. Ever. Iâm not a yeller. Iâm not a fit thrower. If something is done, itâs done."
Why yell at an ex-boyfriend when you can write a revenge song about him, eh Taylor? Not that the 23 year old will admit that tracks like 'We Are Never Getting Back Together' have anything to do with getting back at someone. She told Elle: "To me itâs just writing songs the way I always have. Itâs me sitting on my bed feeling pain I didnât understand, writing a song, and understanding it better. If people want to dissect the lyrics, thatâs their right, but itâs all coming from the exact same place as where I started. Itâs just something I do to feel better."
Something that doesn't make Taylor feel better is Googling herself - because she's fed up of reading rumours about her love life. Which is odd, considering that she insists on writing songs about it every other day.
Taylor told Elle: "Iâm sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumour it would say Iâm chasing somebody who doesnât like me as much as I like him â" people love that angle on me. Theyâre like âOh Taylor, coming on too strong again, chasing boys'. I never chase boys. They donât like it!"
Somehow, we can't imagine they mind too much when it's you Taylor.
