It would be nice to have a friend like music man Will.i.am, wouldnât it?
We can imagine he'd look after you if someone stole your dinner money or was mean.
The Voice judge has come out and said that he stuck up for his pal Cheryl Cole after all the US X Factor sacking business when she was cast aside like a very pretty J-cloth.
The 38-year-old also said by sticking up for her he almost ruined his relationship with the Moses of music Simon Cowell.
He told The Sun: âIt was just wrong what happened to her and I stuck my neck out to fight for her.
Â
âWhen I see Simon now it is all fresh. But with the incident that happened with Cheryl, I was like, âHey Simon, Cheryl asked me to manage her, I have to fight for her, but I hope it doesnât change how you view me as an artistâ.â
A clever move to keep Si on side, just incase he wants to lend a CD or something in future.
He continued: âPeople can paint him to look bad, they can do whatever they want, but he is all right in my book. I have no qualms with Simon as a person.â
On recently collaborating with pop prince-turned-brat Justin Bieber on his new single, he said, in fact, he wasnât that bad.
Â
Even the Anne Frank saga.
He said: âHe went to a museum! If you go to Amsterdam you are going to see some crazy freaking s***, you are going to see some titties, there is a lot of s*** to do in Amsterdam but he chose to go to Anne Frankâs house. The guy is all right.
âHe is handling everything pretty sanely. Anyone else would go insane under that freaking microscope of scrutiny and judgment.â
Weâre now scarred with the thought of Bieber seeing some crazy freaking titties.
Thanks, Will.i.am.
Look, here's Cheryl in Girls Aloud pulling some not-so-pretty faces. Amazing.
