Is Miley Cyrus doing that thing where you get really dressed up to show your ex-boyfriend what he's missing?

It certainly looked that way when she left the Montage Hotel in Beverley Hills wearing a pair of denim shorts that would make Daisy Duke blush, huge stacked platforms but weirdly, HER ENGAGEMENT RING.

Things haven't seemed great for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth for a while.

The 20-year-old singer 's engagement ring has been on again and then off again more times than a video of her twerking has been watched on YouTube. And that's a lot!

Then there were rumours that Liam was getting it on with Mad Men's January Jones and that Miley was meeting up w ith her ex Nick Jonas .

But the other day Liam's car was parked outside Miley's house, which would imply they were definitely still together, right?

Things got weirder when Snoop Dogg went on a chatshow and seemed to tell everyone that it was all over for the teen dream.

Snoop has recorded a song with Miley called Heartbreaks and Ashtrays (clue's in the title, people).

Snoop Lion (as he now wants to be called) said: “I can’t speak for her, ya know what I’m saying? But I know that she has a relationship that no longer exists."

Whoa there! It no longer exists? Like it's extinct? Uh-oh.

"I know she’s probably in a transformation change with her life, her music [and] her career," he said. "She’s 20 years old, and she’s an awesome artist to work with. She knows what she wants in life."

"I feel like maybe th is is a time for her to take charge like I’m taking charge," says Snoop. Probably while 'taking charge' of a spicy cigarette.

The couple were meant to be getting hitched in June but it's been reported that things have now been postponed. Maybe, forever. Yikes.

But if you thought it was just Miley who was out and about looking all sexy and 'you ain't getting none of this', her ex Liam The Hunger Games star has also been papped looking hot, like in these beardy pics .

Miley's dad Billy Ray Cyrus recently said "They're young, they're kids. The great news is they're great friends, they're really good friends."

Ahh yes, the good friends line.
