Â
Soul singing Brit and collector of Grammys/Golden Globes and Oscars Adele is back on the cover of Elle â" and doesnât she look pretty?
The Skyfall singer appears in the US mag for their special Women In Music issue. What? No Emeli Sandé?
Sheâs also just found out her single Someone Like You is the most downloaded track ever with 1.46 million clicks. And she even made Daniel Craig man-blub at the sound of her dulcet tones on the Bond track.
All that and sheâs only 24. We donât feel inadequate at all.
New mummy Adele can be seen with a huge bouffant, smoky eyes and a pout in the shots, wearing a black lace Alberta Ferretti gown.
< p>Sheâs thought to be back in the studio working on some new tear-jerkers for her follow-up to 21 album. Although now sheâs happily engaged, beyond successful and a cooing mum, she probably hasnât got that much to moan about.Â
Other stars pay tribute to her in the issue including Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Lea Michele, John Mayer and the legendary Barbra Streisand. Strangely enough, there wasnât a foreword from lard-mouthed Karl Lagerfeld. Or queen bitch Joan Rivers.
Also featured on Elle's rolling covers are epic warbler Alicia Keys and selfie-obsessive Rita Ora - who was shot in Mickey Mouse gear and whiskers.
During Adele's shoot, it sounds like she nearly made photographer Thomas Whiteside pee his pants as she sang Happy Birthday to him, which he described as the "best present everâ.
We can top that. Weâ ve been serenaded by staff at TGI Friday's.
