She has been accused of faking her pregnancy in a âcrazy plotâ to make extra cash, by a popular US tabloid.
But friends close to Kim Kardashian have denied the âridiculous and hurtfulâ allegations - claiming the âextra stressâ could potentially be harmful to the pregnant reality TV star.
Kim, 32, is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West, 35, this summer after announcing the exciting baby news in December.
Sceptics say paparazzi pictures prove the size and position of her baby bump changes daily.
A source told us exclusively: âThe extra stress isn't what she needs at the moment.
âShe's concentrating on the birth and Kim finds the nasty comments about her weight very distracting and hurtful.
âThe reports claiming she's not actually pregnant or her bump has vanished overnight are completely ridiculous and untrue.â
The comments were referencing a story published by American tabloid the National Enquirer, who quoted a source saying: âI wouldnât put something as crazy as faking a pregnancy for publicity and financial gain past Kim and her crafty mom.
"Theyâd do anything for more fame and money.â
Kim was also accused of comfort eating and scoffing down cakes to add extra pounds in a bizarre move to make her âfake pregnancyâ appear genuine.
But we're told she "doesn't indulge in fatty foods" and maintains a healthy lifestyle.
Last month, Kim was given orders by her doctor to rest and slow down her busy schedule.
Weâre sure it wonât be long before we start seeing more pictures of the kurvy Kardashian looking like thisâ¦
