It's been nearly a year since her divorce was officially finalised (with a smiley face no less), so it's about time Katy Perry started chatting about it in interviews.
The former Mrs Russell Brand was at the ASCAP 'I Create Music' Expo in Hollywood when a brave reporter asked her about the two tracks on her album which are clearly about the split - Part of Me and Wide Awake.
And the Fireworks singer addressed the question head on.
"It's a very tiny elephant...it's like a little tchotchke now," she said. "The Big D - you can say it!"
For those wondering what the heck a 'tchotchke' is, Wikipedia tells us it's a Yiddish word meaning 'small bauble or trifle with connotations of worthlessness or disposability and tackiness'.
We hope for Russell's sake Katy's not making a dig about the size of his, um, baubles.
But if she is then it's about time Katy got her own back.
Russ has been making all sorts of very funny but slightly mocking digs about their marriage of 14 months. Including talking about her genitals on live radio, read about that here .
So it's good that Katy's moved on from 'The Big D' and indeed 'The Big (or maybe not so big after all) R' enough to joke about it too.

Now all we need is for Katy to open up about what's really going on with John Mayer and we can die happy.
Mayer the Player was very tight-lipped about whether they'd got back together while on the Ellen show. Don't believe us? Watch the clip here .
