It's got to be tough being a hot Hollywood actor - you're all about your craft, your process, your acting, but all the internet is doing is making fun of you, or saying you're "well hot" and wanting you to get naked.
And when we say "the internet", we actually mean "the 3am office".
Jon Hamm's on the cover of the new issue of Rolling Stone and he's having a rant about the er, privacy of his privates.
Talking about the endless stories about Jon Hamm's er, ham, the actor says: "Most of it's tongue-in-cheek, but it is a little rude. It just speaks to a broader freedom that people feel like they have - a prurience," he said, proving that he's just as clever as Mad Men's Don Draper, as we had to Google what prurience means.
He continued: "They're called 'privates' for a reason. I'm wearing pants, for f**k's sake. Lay off. I mean, it's not like I'm a f***ing lead miner. There are harder jobs in the world. But when people feel the freedom to create Tumblr accounts about my c**k, I feel like that wasn't part of the deal ... But whatever. I guess it's better than being called out for the opposite."
Touchy! When the New York Daily News ran a story last week saying that Mad Men bosses had asked Jon to wear underwear at all times on set, and even reported that some airbrushing was needed on the TV show's posters to make them more family-friendly, Jon's publicist wasn't laughing: "It is ridiculous and not really funny at all. Iâd appreciate you taking the high road and not resorting to something childish like this," they said.
It's wrong that this makes us want to laugh more, isn't it?
