It's over a year since Demi Moore announced that she was divorcing Ashton Kutcher after he allegedly cheated on her.
But, much like Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian, the pair have seemingly been in no big rush to actually make things official.
Until now that is.
Ashton finally filed divorce papers three months ago, and yesterday actress Demi got round to responding with papers of her own.
She of course cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for the spilt (they must not have a tick-box fo r 'my husband's a cheating douche bag').
So far, so typical celebrity divorce. But then it was revealed that Demi wants Ashton's money, and is asking for spousal support and legal fees from him.
Considering that Demi is worth a reported $150 million to Ashton's $135 million, we've decided that this is about one thing, and one thing only: sweet, sweet revenge.
Ashton - who is the highest paid actor on US television - apparently earned $24 million last year from his role on Two and a Half Men alone, so, y'know, he can spare a bob or two.
But reports suggest that the actor is turning hostile towards his former wife, so it's possible that he'll dig his feet in and refuse to cough up.
And you know what happens if he does that? The case could go to court, meaning both Demi and Ashton could be called to give evidence in front of a judge. Which would probably be very embarrassing for them, but we would enjoy it. Oh, we would enjoy it very much.
Demi announced that she was splitting from Ashton in November 2011, saying in a statement: "âIt is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton."
She we nt on to say: "As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit I have chosen to move forward with my life."
Everyone pretty much universally agreed that bit was referring to reports that Ashton had cheated on Demi, allegedly having a one-night stand with party gal Sara Leal on his and Demi's six year wedding anniversary.
Ashton responded to Demi's split announcement on Twitter, posting: "I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail."
Nine months later he started a relationship with actress Mila Kunis (her of world's most awesome interview fame), who he's still seeing.
Demi is currently single although, considering she looks like THIS (see below) at the age of 50, we're not entirely sure why.
