This makes Rihanna’s legal spat with Topshop a bit ?more juicy â€" heiress Chloe Green has been “growing close†to her ex Chris Brown.
Rihanna is suing the fashion chain, which is run by Chloe’s billionaire dad Sir Philip Green, for £3.5million after they used pictures of her on T-shirts without her permission.
The row has been rumbling on since last year but now, to make matters worse/more exciting, the Stay singer’s ex, Chris, has been getting close to newly single Chloe.
Shoe designer Chloe, 22, split from the former husband of Jennifer Lopez, 44-year-old Marc Anthony, back in April.
Just days later, she partied the night away at Chris’s 24th birthday celebrations in LA.
Well, all the negatives aside, at least he’s more her age, Sir Phil...
Seemingly keen, Chloe was then spotted with the controversial rapper again at Greystone Manor in Hollywood just weeks later â€" and I’m told things were heating up between them in the meantime.
A source tells me: “Chloe met Chris last year when he serenaded her at her dad’s 60th birthday party.
“She was always a big fan and thinks he’s really hot.
“After he split with Rihanna and she split from Marc, they’ve been spending more time together and having a lot of fun.
“It’s early days, but they’ve not been shy about being seen out at the same places.â€
My insider added: “It’s the sort of thing Rihanna keeps an eye on, and she’s definitely aware of Chloe being on the scene.â€
Both Marc and Chris attended Sunday’s music industry Billboard awards in Vegas.
Chloe, meanwhile, who last year moved in with footballer Djibril Cisse for a spell, is said to be at the Cannes Film Festival this week.
Topshop reportedly offered Rihanna £3,500 to settle the dispute. Last week, it was reported that she had instructed lawyers to begin proceedings.
