Katie rap for ‘sneaky’ bid on log cabin: Ex-model denies planning claims

Former glamour model Katie Price has been accused of a “sneaky” abuse of planning laws by asking to keep a “temporary” luxury log cabin at her £2million farm.

Katie, 34, now expecting a fourth child, was allowed to use the cabin for a year while her house was renovated.

But now she wants it as a permanent home for a nanny for her son Harvey, 11.

Her planning agent Alison Freeman said he has “complex life-threatening conditions and is registered blind”.

She said: “He needs 24-hour care. It is essential that the carer has her own living area so she can rest.”

But councillors in Horsham, Surrey, are unhappy.

One, Greg Taylor, said: “It was temporary accommodation, but the reason for it has changed.

"It seems sneaky.”

But a spokesman for Katie said: “It is simply untrue.

"There is nothing ‘sneaky’ about this as there is an application asking the council to consider it.”
