Normal people may pop out for a romantic meal or, at best, get a takeaway so they don’t have to do the washing up on their anniversary.
Mariah Carey is no normal person.
Celebrating five years of blissful marriage with husband Nick Cannon, the super-cleavaged singing diva got on Twitter to highlight exactly how amazing her relationship is.
Saying ‘I do’ again in the mouse park - which they’ve done every year since 2008 - Mariah, 43, whacked on a wedding gown and tiara for the low-key, demure affair to her 32-year-old toyboy.
She wrote on Twitter: “Happy 5th(!!!!!!) Anniversary to the Best Husband in All The Land 2 years ago pon de delivery room=luckiest Mommy in The WORLD!
"#HappyBirthdayDemBabies! #iluvrocroe!!!! Just felt like tweeting you before sunset on #4:30."
Just to reiterate exactly how happy she was, she wrote: “On our way to renew our vows. I love you @NickCannon shut down Disneyland.â€
And again: "Happy Anniversary from my Husband to me!!!!#4/30 Grateful!!!"
Mickey even got excited and tweeted about it - from the account which usually tells people they’ve got another seven hours to wait in the queue - and wrote with his massive hands: "Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon renewing their vows in front of the Castle tonight.â€
If that wasn’t enough excitement, it was also the second birthday of their twins Monroe and Moroccan who were born on their third wedding anniversary.
Imagine having to share your birthday with Mariah?
Dolled up in wedding bling, the foursome walked down the runway by the Sleeping Beauty castle hand-in-hand as the guests cheered on them. You know, just like on American Idol.
Virtually tweeting as she walked up the aisle, she wrote: “Slowly making our way to the freezing cold guests #donthatemebecauseimasiva #cinderella. Grand entrance."
We think she means ‘diva’.
