Katy Perry's dad Keith Hudson has opened his big gob again .
This time asking churchgoers in California to "pray for Katy" who he then branded a "devil child". Not literally. That would be very bad parenting.
The Firework singer didn't seem that fazed by her father's comments though as she stepped out in a lovely blue fishtail Vera Wang gown for a charity party.
Katy was at the Delete Blood Cancer bash in New York.
While she's in The Big Apple she also had time to go to a Great Gatsby party wearing a purple Prada dress and even watch a show on Broadway.

Katy and Ri-Ri were getting into some 'spanking' chat on Twitter recently. Which we bet didn't go down well with Poppa Perry.
Keith also told his congregation “They ask how can I preach if I produce a girl who sang about kissing another girl?"
Who's asking you that Keith? Not us.
"I was at a concert of Katy’s where there were 20,000. I’m watching this generation and they were going at it. It almost looked like church. I stood there and wept and kept on weeping and weeping."
