Britain's Got Talent 2013 semi-final: Arisxandra Libantino, Richard and Adam Johnson and Aaron Crow impress the judges

Britain's Got Talent stars Arisxandra Libantino and classical singing duo Richard and Adam Johnson stunned the judges during the first live semi-final of the show.

Arisxandra,11, prompted loud cheers from the audience and was given praise by the judges despite of the panellists claiming she seemed nervous during her performance.

Taking to his feet after her audition, David Walliams said: "You blew the roof off the joint. Simon made a point earlier about kids being on the show but if you have a talent like your's, you've got to share that with the world!"

Alesha Dixon added: "I could tell you were a little bit nervous... Once you got into it and your vocals opened up, you were on fire."

Amanda Holden said: "You tore the place up, you had a standing ovation at the end. I can see you really came into your own at the end."

And S imon Cowell concluded: "As the guys said, if you've got it, you've got it. I think it was one of the best performances of the night."

But Arixsandra wasn't the only singer to impress Simon and his colleagues during the show.

Singing duo Richard and Adam Johnson surprised the crowd with their voice and prompted the notoriously difficult to please Simon to offer them praise and perhaps even hint they may have a career after the show.

He said: "Like I've said, some acts were better in the auditions than they were tonight  but I think you were the opposite. I tell you what, you won't be back in the sandwich show."

David added: "Everywhere I go, people ask me about you two. You made a huge impression on the audition and you made an even bigger one tonight."

The pair had their supportive family in the audience with their gran taking to her feet to cheer on her relatives.

She burst into tears following the performance and attempted to shout above the crowd do wn to the stage where they had just performed.

But not everyone taking part in tonight's semi-final impressed just as much.

Both the judging panel and viewers were surprised that Martin Healy made it through to the semi-final with some people tweeting that they were surprised other acts have been given the chop in favour of him.

And while not everyone impressed Simon, extreme stunt artist Aaron Crow failed to win praise from Simon as he didn't think his act was dangerous enough despite chopping an apple placed on top of show host Dec's head in half using a threatening weapon.

He said: Not as good of the first audition, I didn't like the music. I kind of wanted you to go three or four inches below the target this time.

"It would have been a better act, better for the ratings. It was good but could have been better."

However, David added: "We've never seen anything like it on Britain's Got Talent. I was a big fan of the show before I was on it. If you get through to the final I would like to see Simon put in terrible danger!"
