Shots of Harry Styles curly locks up close? Check. Footage of Liam Payne in his pants? Check. Zayn Malik looking brooding on camera? Check. And Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson paying pranks on the gang? Yep, itâs in the bag.
And This Is Us is all in 3D so fans will feel so close to the band that if it had smellovision you would discover Harryâs shampoo of choice.
Thanks to Super Size Me creator Morgan Spurlock understanding of 1Dâs female fan-base thereâs definitely only One Direction the boybandâs film is heading and thatâs straight to the top of the box-office charts.
Bookmakers expect This Is Us to rake in as much as £5million in the UK alone when it is finally released next on August 29.
It is definitely a film made for the fans so if you prefer Iron Maiden, this probably isnât one for you.
Â
The glossy documentary takes fans back to the beginning where - dodgy hair cuts aside - you reminisce about how it all started for the boys back in 2010 on the X Factor.
Simon Cowell makes a fleeting appearance and tries to explain the phenomenon behind 1D. And fails. âThese girls are crazy about One Direction and I have no idea why. Iâm not a neuroscientist.â
There are plenty of screaming fans in the UK, America, Japan and Mexico featured and the band and their critics try to explain that itâs the girls and their twitchy-fingers on Twitter that have made them as big as they are today.
And just to prove it Niall stops mid-interview and runs to his hotel window to deafening screams. This really is Beatlesmania for the 21st century.
Â
But itâs also tough being at the top and the band admit itâs hard being away from their friends and family. The weepy moments come courtesy of the 1D mums.
Harryâs mum Anne Cox and Liamâs mum Karen get all weepy when talking about missing their boys. But Karen has a crafty plan and keeps a cardboard cut-out of Liam in his bed much to the surprise of the singer when he makes a rare trip home.
And Zaynâs mum Tricia sobs down the phone after she explores her familyâs brand spanking new pad courtesy of her superstar son.
With slick concert footage, no mention of girlfriends or groupies and the group PG confessions round a camp fire there is plenty to keep the fans happy.
After smashing the music charts, selling out arena tours and now undoubted silver screen success it seems that 1D's worldwide domination is complete.
