Holby City star Guy Henry quits hospital drama to be Captain Hook

Holby City star Guy Henry is quitting the show to play another baddie â€" Peter Pan’s arch-rival Captain Hook, the Sunday People has revealed.

The actor, who has been medical boss Henrik Hanssen for three years, will star in a stage version of the JM Barrie classic.

Guy, 52, said: “I’ve had a wonderful time playing Henrik Hanssen â€" he’s such a weird man, but fun to play. The Holby City cast and crew have been delightful to work with.”

His dramatic storylines on the show include being taken hostage and fleeing to Sweden.

Show boss Simon Harper said: “His brooding, ­enigmatic performance ­delivered one of the truly great Holby characters.”

Guy, who also appeared in the Harry Potter films, stars in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Wendy and Peter Pan from December 10.
