Michael Jackson 'feared he would be shot on stage and predicted own death' days before fatal overdose

Michael Jackson feared he would be shot on stage and knew he was going to die before his fatal overdose, a close friend claimed yesterday.

The King of Pop was so paranoid of being gunned down he chose to make his comeback in the UK because the gun laws are far stricter than those in America.

The late-singer’s dermatologist gives an eerie insight into Michael’s final days and believes the singer had even predicted his own death.

Jason Pfeiffer revealed: “The last time I saw him he ways saying his goodbyes to everyone in the office.

“It was like he knew he was never coming back, and he would often say he thought he was going to be shot on stage.”

Jason spoke for the first time since Michael's death in an interview with The Sun as the 50-year-old’s family are involved in a lawsuit seeking £31.1 billion in damages for his wrongful death from tour promoter AEG.

“He said the comeback was in England due to the gun laws there,” Jason told the newspaper.

“That’s why he ditched a US comeback as people had access to guns here and would shoot him. He thought America was too dangerous.

“But he still had some fears that he would be shot on stage.”

Michael suffered a fatal overdose two weeks before his comeback concerts at London’s O2 Arena were due to begin in the summer of 2009.

Jason insists the controversial singer’s addiction to drugs was the cause of his death and recalls when Michael would “beg” him for more painkillers and “demanded enough to knock out an elephant”.

He continued: “Michael had a death wish with his drug addiction.

“He faked medical issues so that he could receive heavy-duty painkiller Demerol â€" and demanded enough to knock out an elephant.

“Michael felt he was immune to normal volumes and begged for extra quantities.”
