Just because celebrities (well, those that aren't just famous for being famous) have jobs in the public eye doesn't mean they always like to have their personal lives thrust into the limelight.

And it seems one of these people is the girlfriend of Johnny Depp who is known as Amber Heard.

For the lovers of gossip, like us, this isn't so great because it may mean we never get to spy with our eyes and see what it's like with the actor as a romeo.

On her relationship with the hunk that is Johnny, Amber told Flare magazine: "It's not part of my professional life. I want to be an artist. I don't want to be a celebrity.

"You can find pictures of me pumping gas, picking up dry cleaning, walking my dog, but nowhere are you going to find pictures of me hanging around at some nightclub...

"Can you ever imagine yourself in a situation like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie or Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, where the world feels like they have a stake in your private life? I would never want it."

 

No eyes please! Only cameras

Well, yes Amber, some of us do but we see your point (we also like she mentioned Kim Kardashian's name in the same sentence as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie - Kim K has clearly made it).

A slightly sadder sounding Amber added: "I guess I could not hold hands with who I want to, but what kind of life would that be? I don't want to change just because people are watching."

You can hold hands with Johnny while we watch if you want to, Amber. Actually, that sounds creepy, don't.

Two weeks ago, a newspaper report claimed that show bosses had offered Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby and footy pundit Ron Atkinson six figure deals to star in the reality series.

Lairy Charlotte has previously said that being cast on the programme would prove no problem after starring in the MTV smash hit set on Tyneside.

She said: “We have cameras filming us 24/7 so I think Big Brother will be a walk in the park.”

Loose Women star Carol McGiffin and model Sophie Anderton were also said to have signed up for the Channel 5 show â€" but Carol’s agent squashed the rumour that the Sunday People columnist would be taking part.

“Carol hasn’t signed up for CBB,” he confirmed.

'Big Ron doesn't know anything about it'

Similarly, a spokesperson for former Manchester United and Aston Villa boss Ron dismissed the link.

He said: "I know nothing about it, neither does Ron!"

A representative for Sophie declined to comment. Charlotte's agent said that the rumour was ‘news to her’.

All four are still considered strong contenders to take part in the show, with Ron and Carol at 3/1, Charlotte priced at 7/2 and Sophie given odds of 4/1.

Recently retired footy players David Beckham and Michael Owen have been priced as long shots to take part, with odds of  5000/1 and 1000/1 respectively.

A Channel  5 spokesman said the broadcaster did not comment on signings before the launch.

The Glee actress was photographed in a car with a friend in Bel Air in LA yesterday - wearing a 'Cory' necklace, her hair pulled back in a bun and dark sunglasses. The photos taken on July 29 show Lea in deep conversation with her friend as the pair went for a drive around her neighbourhood.

It comes days after Lea broke her silence on Twitter where she posted a picture of the couple together along with her first tweet after hearing her co-star boyfriend had passed away.

The star uploaded a picture of herself with Cory standing in front of some water with what appears to be a boat in the d istance. Lea is seen hugging Cory while he smiles as the pair pose for the camera. Along with the image, the actress wrote: "Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love support. Cory will forever be in my heart."

It's been revealed that the Glee cast are going back to work on the set next week, with Naya Rivera telling US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel that "We go back on Monday" - so that's 5 August. They're filming two pre-planned Beatles episodes, then a third that deals with the death of Cory's character Finn, before going on a long break.

The cast have already held a memorial service for the star, who passed away from a fatal combination of heroin and alcohol in Vancouver. The service, held at Paramount Studios in LA, was to 'honour his life'. 20th Century Fox Television said in a statement: "Today, Ryan Murphy and Lea Michele gathered the cast, crew and producers of Glee, along with colleagues from the network and studio, to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith. We thank the public for their continued outpouring of love and suppo rt as we grieve our friend and colleague during this difficult time."

Kym Lomas was working through the pain on Tuesday - filming an episode of Coronation Street despite her marriage problems.

The 37-year-old actress looked glum as she arrived by car at Granada Studios in Manchester wearing large sunglasses.

Kym, who plays feisty knicker factory boss Michelle Connor, made no comment as she hurried inside the studios wearing pink candyfloss jeans and a flimsy white top.

A source on set said the actress was keen to carry on as usual despite the fact she and husband Jamie are on a trial separation.

On Monday, the Mirror revealed that Kym had put her £650,000 dream home in Worsley, Manchester, up for sale. She and EastEnders actor Jamie are said to have a strained relationship.

He has been working in LA and London while she has been left in Manchester with their two-year-old daughter Polly.

Blurting the words of romance from his mouth and sounding a bit like Kanye West when he interrupted Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, DJ Khaled said: "Nicki Minaj, I'm at MTV, I'm going to be honest with you, I want you to be mine. Nicki Minaj, will you marry me?"

All very bizarre, right? Especially since Nicki was later seen wearing a sparkling ring as we previously mentioned.

Well, it's not really that strange because an initially shocked Nicki soon came to the conclusion he was just messin'.

 

Speaking with US radio station Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex, Nicki said: "I was shocked just like the rest of the world. I was cracking up laughing with the rest of the world 'cause Khaled is a master at what he does...

"Khaled is my brother and Khaled was not serious with that damn proposal, ya'll. Please let it go. He was kidding. He's not attracted to me, he doesn't like me. We're brother and sister."

Sharon Osbourne has branded her former nemesis Dannii Minogue “insignificant” after returning to X Factor in the UK.

The pair’s running feud was reignited when Dannii, 41, claimed bringing her old sparring partner back to the show â€" which starts its tenth series next month - was “risky” and may not be a hit with viewers. 

Sharon has hit back, saying she doesn’t care for the Australian star’s views and has only returned for one year to go out on a high.

She said: “I chose to leave because I was uncomfortable there at that time with a woman that was on the panel.

“She’s insignificant, but at that time, I let her get under my skin and I should have been the bigger person. But hey, I chose to leave. That’s all in the past.

“I wanted t o end it on the right note. I’m only doing it this one season, it’s been 10 years, and I want to end it on the right way.”

Sharon, 60, only judged one series of X Factor alongside Dannii before leaving in 2008, just weeks before she was set to begin filming again.

She is returning to British screens after a turbulent start to the year which saw her living separately from husband Ozzy Osbourne, 64, after he relapsed into drink and drugs.

But despite their problems they are now back together, she’s adamant she will never leave him. 

Speaking to an American website, she said: “You know what, to have addiction problems ... I have an addiction to f****** buying things, and everyone has an addiction in life that they need to address, and for Ozzy, it’s a drug and alcohol addiction, and he slipped really badly. 

“Well, he didn’t slip, he f****** fell. At that time in my life, I couldn’t handle it. I just said, ‘You’ve got to get out and come back when you’re sober.’ It was not a case of divorce. I would never divorce my husband. Ever. I love him too muc h. You just don’t walk away from people because they have a problem.”

Sharon also said their fall out was nowhere near as fierce as previous arguments, adding: “Ozzy was drinking and I was drinking when we first got together. It was f****** insanity. Everything from slashed wrists to beating the shit out of each other. We were both wild.”

Police 'seize drugs from tour bus connected with Justin Bieber'

A bus connected with Justin Bieber's tour was reportedly stopped by police on Sunday night after it was suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia was on board.

The vehicle is said to have been held at the border between the American state of Michigan and Canada with Chief Customs and Border Protection Officer Ken Hammond telling TMZ a sniffer dog sensed there was marijuana on board.

The Baby singer was not on the bus which was held at the Ambassador Bridge which separates Windsor in Canada and the US city of Detroit.

The drugs which were reportedly found on board were confiscated and the driver of the bus is said to have been issued a citation.

The driver and passengers were then apparently released following the confiscation of the items found on board.

We have contacted a representative for Justin for comment.

Rihanna's tour bus was stopped at the same point in March this year and it was reportedly held for the same reason.

And this is also not the first time a bus associated with Justin's tour has been stopped by police.

It was reported another bus connected with the star's tour was stopped in Sweden in April after an unusual smell was thought to be coming from the bus.

A press officer for Stockholm police told local newspaper Aftonbladet at the time: "A colleague felt a strong smell of marijuana, like someone had been smoking in the bus."

Justin went ahead with his show in the city at the time before moving on to his next scheduled performance in Helsinki.

Coronation Street star Kym Lomas has put her dream home up for sale less than 18 months after buying it.

Neighbours in the posh street are stunned at the move, which has fuelled speculation that her marriage to actor Jamie Lomas is back on the rocks.

One resident, who asked not to be named, said: “It is strange to be off so quickly. People who move into this road tend to stay for a long time because they like it so much.”

Kym, 37, and Jamie, 33, live in Manchester but often spend five nights a week apart while he films EastEnders in London.

Kym, who partied until 3am with friends at the weekend, insists the family are selling the five-bedroom house in Worsley, Greater Manchester, because it is too big for them. But locals are baffled.

The neighbour added: “We thought the family were very much at home here. The first thing we knew about them going was when the for sale signs went up.

“The asking price of £650,000 is thought to be the same or maybe slightly lower than when they bought it â€" so it’s not as though they are making a quick profit.”

Kym, who plays feisty factory boss Michelle Connor, and Jamie moved into the “imposing” semi early in 2011 believing it was the perfect way to welcome their new baby Polly into the world.

Her children from a previous relationship, teenagers David and Emily, have also been seen there on a regular basis.

Kym and Jamie were rumoured to be having difficulties when he went to Los Angeles this year looking for work.

A source close to the couple said: “Right now Kym is delighted that he’s bagged himself a role in one of the biggest soaps.

“But friends fear it’s exactly like the LA situation where Kym was happy to support his quest to break into Hollywood. But then reality hit and the problems started.

“The schedules at EastEnders are as intense as Corona tion Street so it will often mean spending five days a week apart, But Kym is ignoring all of that and looking for a place to rent in London together.”

They have been dating for more than two years and the weird Hollywood eagerness to see her wed triggered whispers they have postponed the nuptials.

A source revealed: “They’re madly in love. Justin hangs in her trailer when she shoots. They haven’t postponed the wedding â€" they just haven’t finalised plans yet!”

A pal of Jen’s told a US magazine the actress was shy at first, but has since grown more confident.

They added: “Both of them have incredible bodies, so they’re more relaxed.

“They spend entire days at home without any clothes on and even cook naked.”

The troubled world of Amanda Bynes has been exposed in new pictures released from her New York hotel room.

The images show a suite covered in cigarette ash, dozens of soft drink bottles scattered over work tops, countless beauty products and a smoke alarm ripped from the ceiling.

It’s reported the damaged 27-year-old used the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Manhattan as a hide-out after she was arrested for allegedly throwing a bong out of the window of her apartment in May.

She is accused of racking up a bill worth $9,000 and was asked to leave the hotel last week after guests complained about her smoking and drug use and bad attitude to staff, according to TMZ.

Inside the room, shopping tags from designer sportswear brands can be seen scattered on the floor while expensive beau ty products are stacked in the bathroom.

Notes of scrappy paper had been scribbled on and the smoke alarm was torn from its original fitting and put over a lamp.

Her parents claim she is a substance abuser who has spent $1.4m in a matter of months.

In court papers filed by Amanda's parents Rick and Lynn as part of an effort to get a temporary conservatorship over their daughter they say the former child star has become "extremely paranoid about being watched" and even tapes windows shut in a bid to stop cameras from capturing pictures of her.

Amanda is also said to cover smoke alarms with towels and her parents now believe she is homeless.

In addition, it is claimed the actress as "profound issues with her body image" and is "obsessed with the fact that she (and others) are ugly", according to TMZ.

The former Disney star was thought to have had $4m in the bank but a huge amount of money has allegedly vanished with $1.2m being spent in a very short amount of time.

Amanda apparently withdrew $100,000 from her bank on June 4 and a further $100,000 on July 2 and while her parents do not know what the money was spent on, they believe she spent "a substantial amount" on marijuana and other illegal substances.

The star recently returned to Los Angeles from where she was living in New York but how she traveled to the Californian city is a mystery with Amanda telling her parents she "cabbed it".

The papers in which Amanda's bizarre behaviour is detailed were filed as her parents are trying to get a temporary conservatorship of their daughter in a bid to control her finances and certain personal areas of her life.

The court denied the request for a conservatorship on Friday morning as the judge is said to want more information.

Amanda is currently in hospital and is on a psychiatric ward after she started a fire on the driveway of a stranger's home in the Thousand Oaks area of Los Angeles on Monday night.

Benedict, 37, who is filming a new Sherlock series, officiated at the ceremony. Before the big day he said: "Of course, I'm going to make a joke after it if it goes well - 'I do weddings. Next will be children's parties and bat mitzvahs'."

The actor and 5ft 9in Katia - a former ballerina - were later seen sharing a kiss.

If you're auditioning for the next series of Big Brother you would do well to heed this advice: Be as camp as you can.

Former detective Dan is a prime candidate for being voted the campest contestant ever in the history of a show that has had more camps than Glastonbury.

If Dan heard he was up for the award he'd be sure to raise both hands together and make small, repetitive, excited clapping gestures while emitting girly yelps.

I'm not saying he's especially camp but he makes Julian Clary look like Vinnie Jones.

Dan, up for eviction tonight along with Sophie and Sam, is the 4-6 favourite to be shown the door. As short as 2-5 on Wednesday, the odds are beginning to suggest he has a big gay following.

If Dan stays in the house it is likely to be at Soph ie's expense.

The girl hails from Canning Town, a place so rough the local library has a sign that says, 'Shut The F*** Up'.

Ellie's currently on tour with Bruno Mars, and even though she's dating actor Jeremy Irvine, she fancies Bruno a bit, apparently.
