From muggles to mugging - Emma Watson in The Bling Ring

Sofia Coppola's new movie The Bling Ring, based on the true story of a group of friends who robbed celebrities in the Hollywood Hills and stole millions of dollars worth of jewellery, clothes and accessories, was always going to be controversial.

And the brand new trailer proves it's definitely that.

Set to Azaelia Banks' filthy hit 212, the video shows the teenage gang breaking into Paris Hilton's home which amazingly has a walk-in wardrobe, sparkly pole-dancing poles and cushions with her face on. We bet Paris' house is EXACTLY like that. She probably let them film it in her real pad!

The group help themselves to Paris' extensive accessories and one of them even has to be convinced not to steal Paris' dog!

The actress and Burberry model also does some sexy dancing with her tongue out and strips to her bra .

Emma, who'll forever be Hermione to us, plays Nicki, the leader of the gang, and the film - out June 14th - features cameos by Paris herself, as well as Kirsten Dunst and Gavin Rossdale (although he's not in the trailer).

Leslie Mann from Knocked Up and This Is 40 plays Emma's mum, who shouts "Girls time for your adderall!" at the opening of the trailer. Sums it up really.

We love the speech Emma gives outside the court-house too, telling reporters "I could lead a country one day for all I know."

Nicki is based on Alexis Neiers, who spent 30 days in jail for her role as part of the real-life Bling Ring.

But Alexis herself isn't too keen on the film, tweeting:

"@AmyKinLA it's trashy and inaccurate"

"Based on Detective Goodkin and Nancy Joe Sales inaccurate information. 2 people who are everything they accused us of being. Celebrity status obsessed, fame money hungry."

"The truth will come out soon enough and I have no intention of seeing this film."

Sounds a lot like the self-important speech Emma Watson's character gives in the movie, eh?
