The mum of fallen former Disney star Amanda Bynes has reportedly withdrawn her bid to take control of her daughter's financial affairs and medical treatment.
Lynn Bynes had been due to seek permanent conservatorship of the troubled 27-year-old, who is being treated for mental health problems in a psychiatric hospital in California, on Monday.
But according to Radar Online, Lynn's attorney Tamar Arminak "notified the court on Thursday morning that the petition was being withdrawn". Â
Lynn won temporary conservatorship of her wig-loving daughter at the start of August, after the former Nickelodeon star reportedly set fire to her neighbour's driveway.
This will now expire on Monday.
Â
It is unclear why Lynn has withdrawn her petition.            Â
Amanda become notorious for posting a string of bizarre tweets online and branding other stars ugly earlier this year.
She was arrested after allegedly throwing a bong out of her New York apartment window and has previously had her driving license suspended for driving under the influence.
Earlier this month, Mr Arminak was forced to deny claims the actress had started tweeting again, saying that her Twitter account had been hacked.
