Model Abbey Clancy says hubby Peter Crouch doesnât stand a cha-cha-chance of getting near Strictlyâs sexy dancers.
Her footballer other half, famous for his robot- dance goal celebration, is jealous of Abbey and wishes he was doing the talent show instead.
But Abbey, 27, says: âIâm not too sure Iâd allow that though. The girls are far too hot.â
Instead, the lanky Stoke City striker, 32, must try not to look too crestfallen in the audience as his wife waltzes off with a fit male dancer.
The mum-of-one laughs: âIâm paying him back⦠for perving on all the girl dancers.â
Â
Abbey is thrilled with her partner, whoâll be revealed on tonightâ show, and says heâs among the best looking. She says: âIâm going to have to wear make-up now in training. Heâs gorgeous.â
The lingerie and catwalk model at first told Strictly bosses she only wanted to wear black.
But she says: âThatâs all changed â" I wore turquoise and my legs are like two bronzed copper pipes. Iâve got the bug already.â
Abbeyâs one regret about the show is leaving two-year-old daughter Sophia behind. âIâm used to being with her every day,â she confesses.
Â
Dragonsâ Denâs Deborah Meaden, 54, also has a slight qualm â" she said she would never do the show. She says: âI said Iâm too old, too short and canât dance. But I am so far out of my comfort zone â" itâs a real challenge.â
Vanessa Feltz, 51, is half resigned to being the showâs funny turn, but has one ambition.
She says: âIâd like to be better than Quentin Willson â" Iâm setting my sights low. If I can beat him, at least I wonât be the worst of all time.â
