She hasn't even made her reality soap TV debut - but TOWIE newbie Ferne McCann looks set to ensure plenty of raised tattooed-on eyebrows after judging Made in Chelsea to be "better" than its ITV2 rival.
And the 22-year-old hair stylist may have ensured herself a particularly warm welcome from her new colleagues by declaring the E4 Bafta-winning series "more artistic".
"It is a totally different show," Fern told Mirror Online when asked about the structured reality programme set in West London.
"It is a similar concept, but totally different people and lifestyle.
"Their show is shot a lot better, it's more artistic. Their whole thing looks like it's been Instagrammed."
She continued: "Everyone looks gorgeous, like it's had a filter over the whole thing."
Fern, best mates with show regulars Sam and Billie Faiers and in a long-term relationship with the younger brother of Chloe Sims, also said she was eagerly anticipating everything kicking off with her new gig.
Be careful what you wish for, Ferne...
She said: "I love the drama. I'm a very honest person, I say it as it is and I'm quite opinionated so if I disagree or agree with someone I'll make it quite clear that's how I feel.
"I'm just looking forward to having fun and letting the drama unfold."
* TOWIE series 9 begins tonight, Sunday June 2, on ITV2 at 10pm.
