Simon Cowell goes on bizarre Twitter rant about 'deep' changes for The X Factor

It seemed like Simon Cowell had a dark night of the soul last night, sending a series of 'deep' tweets about the future of The X Factor and his life in general.

In a series of bizarre messages (sixteen to be precise) at 4am UK time, the TV and music mogul began by tweeting:

"Just finished my calls to la. I wanted to apologise about not tweeting recently. I have been focusing a lot on work."

He then cryptically revealed:

"There will be a lot of changes on X Factor UK and USA. But good changes. I feel excited for both shows this year."

There's been plenty of speculation that Tulisa has been axed from the new series, but she recently hit back at the rumours.

Speaking to the Sunday People, she said: "I’m realistic, if Simon had called to say I was s acked, I’d say. If there were issues, I’d say."

Will Tulisa be axed as one of Simon's 'good changes'?

Meanwhile Dannii Minogue has signed up for The X Factor Australia along with Mel B.

But it wasn't just The X Factor, BGT was also on Simon's mind.

"Have just finished the britains got talent auditions. We still have a lot of talent in this country."

And for those of you wondering if James Arthur and Ella Henderson had dropped off the face of the earth, Simon had this to say.

"On syco uk we are working hard on James and Ella. I have a very good feeling about these two."

Simon is 'working hard' on this man

And then things started to get, well, 'deep' in Simon's own words.

He continued: "And with everything I have been working on it made me realise that your friends and family are still the most important things in your life."

Aww, that's quite sentimental Simon. Had a few white wines, have we?

He then became even more emotional.

"Sorry to cram all this in. Have read some strange things about me recently. I am happy. Healthy. And enjoying life. Hope you are too."

Oh, Simon. We never knew you cared!

"What I have realised is there will be bumps in your life but the fun is fixing them. If it was always easy life would be boring.

"And for everyone who has bothered to follow me. Thank you. I have learnt a lot from you guys.

"That's about it for now. I hope to announce something very close to me that I have been working on soon.

"I was a little deep tonight but it was one of those nights you realise you have a lot to be thankf ul for.

We love it when celebrities get deep and meaningful on Twitter.
