'We should take kids more seriously': Will.i.am wants kids as young as five to be able to audition for The Voice

The Voice judge Will.i.am has asked the BBC to REDUCE the age limit of the show... and wants children as young as five to audition.

While Sir Bruce Forsyth has attacked Britain's Got Talent for using kids, the Black Eyed Peas rapper sided with ITV rival Simon Cowell.

Will said: "A two-year-old can use an iPhone and an iPad... it's the first time children can use the same tools as adults. We should take kids and their capabilities more seriously.

"You can't offer a dream and not expect them to participate."

Will also revealed that BGT finalists Luminites had asked him to listen to their song after Simon billed them as the "British Black Eyed Peas".

And pals of music mogul Simon have revealed that he plans to sign Luminites to his own record label Syco even if they do not win the show in the end.
