You can take the boy out of Essex, but you can't take the day-glo blinding white veneers out of the boy from Essex. As Rylan proved when he revealed his new bright white teeth on his debut as host Big Brother spin-off show Big Brother's Bit On The Side.
The X Factor star turned presenter's glow-in-the-dark dentures quickly became a topic on Twitter with viewers were quick to compare him to TOWIE star Chloe Sims and Ross from Friends (from the episode where he gets his teeth whitened).
But Rylan took the criticism well, tweeting: "When your teeth have their own twitter accounts, you know you've made it" and "Newsflash! My teeth will be fronting new BB show "Bit On The Big Side" coming soon..... #onlyjoking.'
He also tweeted a picture of himself grinning widely and making a rude hand gesture, saying: "Such an amazing night! And for those piping up about my teeth, this ones for you, enjoy! X"
Which is pretty much why we totally love Rylan, and his new look smile. And why we'll be henceforth referring to him as Ross-lan.
