Great news One Direction fans - the boyband has just announced they've added MORE dates to the Where We Are Tour 2014.

Happily the boys have confirmed they will play additional shows in London and Manchester. Here are the new dates:

Harry tweeted about the extra dates:

Hasn't he got lovely manners? He then followed up with a tweet that simply read "Gaaaaaaah this is insane". We can only presume he's either very excited/overwhelmed by how quickly the tickets are selling, or he's watching that episode of Embarrassing Bodies with the man with those boils DOWN THERE.

These additional One Direction dates for the 2014 world stadium tour mean the former X Factor finalists are set to perform to more than 400,000 UK fans next year.

Frenzied Directioners across the British Isles threw ticket sites into overdrive this morning as tickets were released. You might still be able to get your hands on some here:

24 May 2014: Croke Park, Dublin

28 May 2014: Stadium of Light, Sunderland

31 May 2014: Etihad Stadium, Manchester

3 June 2014: Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh

7 June 2014: Wembley Stadium, London

The band made their One Big Announcement last week and are set to perform at some of the planet's biggest and most prestigious stadiums starting in Latin America before heading back home to the UK and Ireland for a string of gigs.

They also announced they will donate £200,000 of world tour ticket sales to Stand Up to Cancer charity.

So going to see them is basically doing charity work.

Ticketing website viagogo is predicting that over half a million fans will be left empty handed at the box office.

Steve Roest of viagogo said: "If everyone who has searched for a ticket so far were successful, Wembley stadium would be filled 14 times over.

"One Direction are the most popular boyband on the planet, and following their much-hyped new tour announcement we predict that tickets for the 2014 tour could sell out in as little as 10 minutes.

"It seems fans are prepared for a battle to get their hands on tickets, which explains why we have had hundreds of thousands of registrations across our international websites before tickets have even gone on sale."
