Last night's awards weren't just about the dresses - there were a whole bunch of famous men in sharp suits too. Mmm
Oh to be Jennifer Lawrence. What a treat that would be. The actress is shaping up to be the perfect celebrity: she seems pretty normal, she's oh-so-talented, her figure is outstanding yet realistic, she says just enough to be interesting but not too much to be a try-hard and she's winning awards all over the damn place.
On Wednesday, Jennifer picked up gongs at People's Choice, on Thursday she was nominated for an Oscar and on Thursday night she was back on stage winning two Critics' Choice Awards!
At last night's prestigious ceremony, Jennifer won the awards for Best Actress in an Action Movie for Hunger Games and Best Actress in a Comedy for Silver Linings Playbook, not to mention the group prize for Best Acting Ensemble.
Another worthy winner was Ben Affleck, whose directing work on Argo was snubbed by the Oscars yesterday. He took home the awards for Best Director and Best Picture for the film and told the audience that it had cheered him right up.
He said: "I would like to thank the Academy. I'm kidding, I'm kidding. This is the one that counts. No, I do want to thank the Broadcast Film Critics Association. It is very, very cool for me. There was a time when the Ben Affleck's Critics' Award was a Saturday Night Live sketch."

His pal Bradley Cooper also picked up an award - for Best Actor in a Comedy - with the pair bonding in the audience... and making our hearts (and loins) ache.
But forget all this! Onto more important things: the outfits! The CCA had a great turn out - and the dresses were all pretty fantastic (with Amy Adams and Anne Hathaway leading the way). Check them all out in this here gallery, plus see all the winners below.
