Glee bosses have called an emergency meeting after the death of Cory Monteith and vowed to carry on with the hit teen show.
Lea Michele will continue to play super student Rachel Berry and bosses are frantically trying to figure out a way to work Cory's character out of the story.
Sources told TMZ: "Glee is definitely not cancelled. If you look at the dollars and cents of the show and that it was very much an ensemble with new kids being added last year when some graduated. Itâs clear that the show wasnât about one character."
Cory was cremated on Tuesday following a private viewing ceremony in Canada.
The late actor's mother and girlfriend Lea Michele were present at the ceremony held at a hospital but Cory's estranged father was not invited.
Cory died at the age of 31 from an overdose of alcohol and heroin and was found by the staff of a Vancouver hotel on Saturday.

And the Glee star's father has spoken out about his devastation at not being asked along to say his final goodbye.
Joe Monteith told TMZ: "I always loved both my sons and am going to miss Cory very, very much. I'm saddened at the fact I couldn't have been there to see my son before he was cremated."
Cory's father claims he only learned about the ceremony after it had taken place and was "totally devastated" when he was informed.

The actor's body was released to his mother Ann on Tuesday after an autopsy was completed.
Cory's parents divorced when he was seven years old and the actor was brought up by his mother along with his brother Shaun.
Their father was often away with the military so they didn't often see him as children due to his work commitments.
