'It's better when we're angry': TOWIE's Mario and Lucy talk sex, love and, umm, more sex

We know more than we'd like to about them thanks to their starring roles in The Only Way Is Essex , so it's no surprise that Mario Falcone and Lucy Mecklenburgh are prone to over-sharing in magazine interviews.

The mahogany-hued couple opened up to this week's Fabulous magazine , and one thing's clear. They like talking about sex. Like, a LOT.

Mario kicks things off with the confession: "Angry make-up sex is the best.

"You still sort of hate them, but... Actually, sometimes I start an argument just for that!"

Right then.

Speaking about the importance of sex to a relationship, Lucy adds: "It's very important. I think if it stops then you've got issues."

She goes on to confess that, with their busy schedule of filming, public appearances and spray tanning, the pair don't get as much time to get down and dirty as they might like.

This happened. That is all.

"Sometimes we're really busy and it just doesn't happen," Lucy says, adding: "We're happy, but it's just our body clocks are at different times, so that sometimes makes it harder."

No pun intended, we're sure.

Asked about the most unusual place they've done it, the pair get unusually coy, and refusing to say.

"We've done it on a balcony on holiday. But we've done it somewhere worse than that. Somewhere a lot worse."

He adds: "I would say, but Lucy's mum will read this, so I can't. Her mum and dad would be horrified. My dad would think I'm a legend."

The couple get amorous on TOWIE

On behalf of Lucy's mum and everyone everywhere, we thank you for not saying, Mario.

It's not just the bedroom where the couple produce fireworks - they've been known to have some pretty spectacular bust-ups on TOWIE too, usually due to one of them getting jealous, something Lucy admits can still be a problem.

"I think it's harder for me," she confesses, "especially when he does a lot of personal appearances.

"[Girls] chuck themselves at him! A girl's bitten his ear when I've been standing on the other side of him!

"He was laughing. I was like: 'What is she doing?'"

Essex: it's a jungle out there.

Whilst Mario and Lucy no doubt get amorous with a copy of today's Fabulous magazine, catch up on how former TOWIE star Mark Wright's relationship with Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan is going here.
