Following rumours that the late Michael Jackon's sister Janet Jackson was planning ‘the wedding of the century’, would give every guest a $10,000 Rolex watch as a gift and spend $20million in total on her dream day â€" she’s denied it.

And quite strongly too, because she’s already married businessman Wissam Al Mana and it sounds like there was nothing OTT about it at all.

“The rumours regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true,” the couple said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight (this couple will definitely roll out the red carpet for their SECOND wedding).

“Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony. Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favourite children’s charities.”

They added: “We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy.”

If Wissam, who was also thought to have proposed at Christmas (doh), had wanted to have the wedding of the century, he certainly could have though because he’s the billionaire managing director of Al Mana Retail, representing A/X Armani Exchange.

The couple made a rare public appearance together at the Giorgio Armani show during Milan Fashion Week, where they clung onto each other wearing matching smart black outfits.

It’s the third wedding for Janet, who was previously married to James DeBarge and Rene Elizonda Jr. She also had a long-term relationship with music producer Jermaine Dupri.
