After spending Christmas day together, John and Katy apparently decided to act out one of their fantasies and post about it on Twitter

We're not sure if this is the most bored Father Christmas has ever looked. Or the most dishevelled. Or the most attractive.

Eitherway, all we can do when we look at this picture is imagine a very excitable Katy Perry dragging a somewhat-less-enthusiastic John Mayer back to her parents' house for Christmas; taking him by the hand and running with him up the stairs to the dressing up box, and pulling out this Santa costume while widening her already unnaturally wide eyes and holding it out towards him like a kitten brandishing half a dead mouse.

Which may or may not be that far from what actually took place in the Perry household yesterday, when John and Katy spent their Christmas with her family in Santa Barbara.

They're both very good at seasonal dressing. Which is important in a relationship

The couple also took the opportunity to visit a local hospital on the 22nd of December, and hang out with a few of the patients.

Which suggests that unlike Chris Brown, they both got presents rather than coal in their stockings.
