We're not sure what's worse... him proposing on the internet or her saying yes. Is this how trendy people get engaged?

We've got more happy celebrity engagement news after Kelly Clarkson showed off this MASSIVE ring - but this one is a bit weird.

DJ bloke deadmau5 proposed to his tattooist girlfriend Kat Von D on TWITTER today - and she said YES.

He wrote: 'I can't wait for Christmas so.... Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?'

The controversial man-mouse then attached a picture of a ring so his bride-to-be could see the diamond.

So without being given a rock for the otherwise rubbish and pointless finger on the left hand, she agreed to marry her man.

Then the dance DJ - real name Joel Zimmerman - posted: 'Thanks for the well wishes and support from the horde and everyone else! brb while i spend the rest of my evening with my future wife :)'

The LA Ink star also tweeted: 'Mi corazon!!! Thank you all for the lovely congratulations! Please excuse me while I go squeeze the hell out of my fiancé!'

They split last month but have since rekindle d their romance.

Kat wrote online: 'Man, I sure was wrong. But at least he made it a no brainer to break that off. #lessonlearned.'

She continued: 'Man..I can't say I didn't give it my best.'

Before the 30-year-old reality TV star confirmed: 'Clarification: Deadmau5 and I are no longer together.'

We're not sure what's happened in the last four weeks - or exactly how they've gone from break-up to wedding plans - but at least they're happy. Right? RIGHT?
