Oh that’s better. As much as we’re mentally exhausted by the Alex Reid and Chantelle Houghton show that is their split, we don’t like to see a girl cry â€" we favour smiles.
So it’s good to see Chantelle all dolled up with what is most definitely an upturned mouth. There’s a good deal of pouting too, but a smidgen of happiness is definitely present.
The reality star opted for a smart, black peplum dress over the leggings and baggy tops we’ve been used to seeing her in of late.
She chose a totally sexual pair of tan, studded Louboutin heels with bright red platform to give the look some colour and we wouldn’t be at all surprised if they alone were the cause of The Smile.
Make up is also something Chantelle’s been shunning since splitting up with douche bag ex Alex Reid and trying to get used to be being a single mum to baby Dolly.
But it was definitely in attendance for her appearance on The Saturday Show in Dublin, where we really hope she didn’t have quite as a traumatic time as she did on Friday’s This Morning (although seeing as it's where Alex proposed to her, we imagine it brought back some difficult memories - it's below if you can bring yourself to watch it).
Talking to Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes about her break up, Chantelle totally broke down. It wasn’t nice.
